DQM x Casio G-Shock DW-6900 – A Closer Look

New looks into the latest collaborative capsule featuring DQM and Casio have surfaced. DQM has kept things simple and minimalistic based on a white and black colorway. Touches of DQM red are seen marking the dial and backlight. Aside from DQM, the collection also includes another release with LRG. Look for this particular joint to drop soon.

    this dqm 6900 is dope though. i like how the chrono eyes are red to match the dqm logo.

    i used to have a white g-shock like that back in the 90′s… that is a beautiful collaboration piece.

    there are way more g-shock aficionados in japan. g-shocks have a simple color design, and people who know certain colorways (ala dunks), will know what the collaboration peice is about.

    We’ve seen alot of collaborations with G Shock and other brands. But I think, this would have to be the best looking one of all. This to me shows that both GSHOCK and DQM actually put their heads together instead of simply putting another company logo on a GSHOCK and calling it a collaboration.

    Man I keep seeing these collabs with G-Shock watches but nothing different. Same shape, same design, maybe a logo on back or wristband and only comes in basic colours i.e blue, green, white, black… and never mixed…. They should seriously consider having couple that are totally different from the traditional look of G-Shock.

    Save a few collaborations, most G-shock collabs are pretty boring and cookie cutter. Backlight, small logo, and if you’re lucky, a design on the band or back of the watch. I wonder if it’s Casio limiting the design or the collaborating brand that lacks vision for these paltry offerings to be generated.
