adidas originals by originals 2009 project las vegas 06 adidas Originals by Originals 2009 Fall/Winter Preview

While the adidas Originals by Originals debut collection has amounted to a successful release, at the recent Project tradeshow in Las Vegas, adidas foreshadowed what will be a seasonal event for the brand with a look into the 2009 fall/winter collection. The booth itself took many cues from the whole “house party” concept adidas Originals is pushing for their 2009 60 Years of Soles and Stripes campaign which revolved around a celebrity-filled house party. Although looks have been sparse with many months prior to the full release, the conceptual aspect has been unveiled. It appears as though Kazuki Kuraishi in addition to Jeremy Scott will work side-by-side while the new face will be seen in the form of UNDFTD’s James Bond. James Bond’s capsule will be particularly special as he looks to design for one of the global sports communities most popular sporting and fashion figures in David Beckham. Following the special unveiling, a party was held at one of Las Vegas’ longest-standing eateries the Peppermill with some notable guests in attendance including Benny Gold, Michael Dupouy, Hawaii Mike, Kazuki Kuraishi and DJ Neil Armstrong.

Wish we had all that stuff last night in the Manila Adidas party. The Jeremy Scott and the Kazuki Kuraishi stuff displayed were disappointing. But Roxy Cottontail was a riot!
