Japanese artist USUGROW’s often dark illustrated style has enjoyed a great deal of success. Expanding over multiple platforms, he reunites with Vans a new pack of sneakers. i hate when they add unnecessary doodles on the side of the sole. it’s a shoe, not a notepad.

Half Cabs are a little dull and lack the detail of the other two shoes. So I like those better. Pretty dope!

The New Hosoi Pack is crazy. But I will say I’m a little tired of the same run-of-the-mill dark, overly embroidered black and white vans Syndicate packs. This looks no different than any of the Taka Hayashi collabs vans has been doing. Though my love for Vans is only second to Nike’s…. I think vans needs to step into the realm of more daring collaborations and use more materials.
