Teriyaki Boyz’s “Serious Japanese” Album Website
by Staff, January 4, 2009

Gearing up for the release of their second album entitled “Serious Japanese” hitting stores later this month on the 28th. Teriyaki Boyz decided to give their site an overhaul with a more interactive design. Keeping you up to date with the Do You Like Japan Tour kicking off Thursday February 3th through March 5th. I must say the album cover for Serious Japanese is pretty awesome.
Check out the new site here.

Yonug Pepy, ‘zokkon’ means kinda like ‘love at first sight’ in japanese. so, to say it like ‘zock on’ is a play on words like ‘rock on’. clever as hell
COME on mohsin what are you talking about, they rocks they are the first japanese hip hop band to success out asia and they are reaching europe is somebody can give me the meaning of ZOCK ON i don’t really know what it means
They’re pretty hot in Japan… Like phil said, they’re all considered respectable over there; Ryo-Z and Ilmari are in Rip Slyme (big Japanese hip hop group with a massive following), Verbal’s from m-flo (biggest pop/hip hop act in the country basically), and Wise had a little bit of underground fame before Nigo signed him to Bape Sounds. I think their last album topped the Oricon charts (Japan’s Billboard-kinda-sorta)… could be mistaken though. Anyway, yeah, it’s the Japanese that keep buying them.
TB has a huge Japanese fan base, each of the members are consider respectable rappers in the Japanese scene. Especially “Nigo” the owner/ founder of A BATHING APE.
well the audience is mixed. some geeks some hip hop heads. the only show they’ve had in the states were done by http://newyork-tokyo.com
if you guys actually like them and want to see them perform in NYC again, HOLLA!

Cool site, as usual they’ve got the hot producers so there will definitely be some crazy sounds on this album. Very interesting… I’ve always wondered what kind of fan base they have, like who are the people that are actually buying their records?
