Game-changers Serato and their Whitelabel.net music label have given a fitting tribute to DJ A-Trak, gifting him the very first run of custom picture disks on their label. The innovative concept has a dual purpose, the Dust La Rock-designed “Mr. A” graphical side plays Say Whoa while the other side serves as a Serato control disk. The disk was based on DJ A-Trak’s album with Nike+, Running Man: Nike+ Original Run which dropped back in late August of 2008. 1,000 promotional disks were pressed.

    the haters of serato are people who don’t know what it is or what it stands for. serato is one of the greatest musical tools to be created in the last decade. and whether or not it’s considered “old school” doesn’t matter. the times are changing. and to remain using technology from upwards of 15 years ago is plain stupid.
