Ron English’s ways continue well into first few days of Barack Obama’s tenure as president of the United States as a Los Angeles billboard is seen occupied by the support of Ron English and crew. Although his Barack Obama meets Abraham Lincoln approach didn’t have the next level impact of Shepard Fairey, nevertheless the art work developed a strong following and resulted in some interesting products including busts.

    distubed, the current Republican party would be unrecognizable to Lincoln and republicans of his time. In fact they’re polar opposites on many significant issues. School yourself before you make a fool of yourseld.

    Actually, Lincoln and Obama have more in common than you may think… Both were attorneys and later politicians that represented the state of Illinois… Lincoln never got elected to the Senate as Obama did, but he did serve in the House of Rep. Also the Republican party was ideologically very different in the mid 19th century…so Lincoln’s and Obama’s ideals might not be too far apart…They both were elected under very dramatic and dire circumstances as well…

    Obama is nothing like Lincoln and never wil be. Lincoln was a Republican for starters …I swear this site has more tools than Home Depot.

    not a huge fan of this piece by English but I love watching him bomb the billboards. He’s still keeping it real!!

    Got a politics questions for you all. Can someone plesae explain to me why they hate Obama? I just argued with a strong Bush supporter and they were saying he was an amazing president. Yet when I ask them if they like the way they are living now, if they like the fact that they might lose their job tomorrow, no raises and the list goes on they say that we cant blame that on Bush. Yet they are saying that Obama is going to run this country even further to the ground. Why is it that Bush is not to blame for anything yet they feel Oabama is to blame for everything? Just wondering. I dont get it. This is why I avoided politics because there are some close minded people in this country that only watch the O’rielly factor and criticize everything else. I personally pick each topic and have my own vue on it. Thats true freedom of choice.
