Puma changes things up with the unveiling of a vintage-styled racing shoe mash-up. The 917 combines elements of the Speed Cat Mid and Future Cat Mid. With an undeniable racing heritage, this plays into the overall sole design of the shoe with a new found lifestyle element incorporated with a paint job to simulate stitches and overlays. The shoe’s name is derived from the Porsche 917 originally driven by movie badass Steve McQueen in the 1971 movie “Le Mans”.

That’s crazy. I could have sworn I was looking at a drawing of a sneaker. At first I didn’t realize that was the actual sneaker.. Kudos Puma.

haha… this shoe had an amazing sell through with the last ones they released. it was actually a lichtenstein-esque looking shoe (same style as pictured here) that did great numbers for some reason. the silhouette and low price points certainly won a lot of people over! this one should do well also.
