The joint effort of NIGO (A Bathing Ape) and Jun Takahashi (Undercover) will see an opening at London’s Dover Street Market this coming Saturday. Resurrecting the NOWHERE name, both friends and collaborators will open up a pop-up shop in celebration of their first retail endeavor back in the early 90′s, where NIGO eventually launched A Bathing Ape in 1993. Jun Takahashi has unveiled some of the garments that will make their way onto the shelves and surely sell off the shelves just as fast.

It’s simple but has a lot of meaning such as the number 2 representing Nigo. “Last Orgy 2″ being the column in which Nigo and Jun Takahashi worked together on in a Japanese magazine which now ceases to exist.

They’re ugly. This will be an example of paying strictly for the name rather than any design effort and consideration.

Yes, it is plain. But it’s also a replication of Bape’s first items that were sold in NOWHERE so many years ago.

Not that I’m interested in any of the pieces, but they should hold some sentimental value for some.
