Having seen a preview into the Nom de Guerre collaborative boot with Red Wing Shoes a few weeks ago, the boot is seen here with a full look. Combining the quintessential 875-style moc-toe boot, the upper is constructed of waterproof dark charcoal nubuck and the Red Wings classic white Traction Tred sole and Goodyear Welt. The boot’s look falls in line with Nom de Guerre collection number 7, “The World as Will and Idea”, a collection inspired by the Military War Theater often seen in Europe during the Second World War. The boot effectively combines a muted palette with the necessary military functionality that is required in combat. A small run of 24 pairs is available at OKI-NI, who aside from New York’s Nom de Guerre store is the only other stockist.
