nissan gtr spec v 1 Nissan GT R Spec V

If the 7 minute 29 second Nurburgring (I don’t care what Porsche says, haters!!!) beast known as the Nissan GT-R couldn’t get better, Nissan has finally pulled the covers off of the GT-R Spec V edition. Further boasting the performance and creating a street-legal race car, steps for weight lightening were taken, the addition of a new boost controller for improved mid and high end torque as well as an exclusive Ultimate Black Opal color are all part of the package. The GT-R Spec V for the time being will be sold only in Japan at a suggested retail price of ¥15,750,000 JPY (approximately $171 000 USD) with no word yet on making the trek overseas.

this will beat the zr1 and it will still be heavier which will make the zr1 and americans look stupid

I would, although I’d probably just take the base version, because it’s not like I’m a good enough driver to get any better performance out of it.

Well i currently live in japan and i use to love skylines back when i was in cali. now i see them here soo soo much, grandma, kids, janitors all drive it. From R-32—R-35. its gross. the rich japanese people will actually drive a mustang or corvette because its soo rare and hard to get here, imagine that…

there not getting rid of the skyline name cuz quite frankly it is not a skyline…
dont get me wrong a nice car… but calling this a skyline would downgrade the name that we know as skyline…. i have came in contact with the gtr here in los angeles and i have had a skyline before and the older skyline is far more enjoyable than the gt r at least for me

$171,000. For a Datsun. It must be inflation. Especially given the marginal performance gains. 100k for a boost controller, carbon fiber aero peices and a (albeit very dope) paint job. Give me an Exige S. And Megan Fox.

I could care less how fast it goes around a certain race track, or how big the rims are, or how loud the stereo is. The only thing that matters, with a car this exquisite, how fast the women jump into the passenger seat. With this car, i’d clock them at about .9 seconds.

i’d rather get the zr1 and save a buttload

We all know that 7.29 lap was not by the standard all other cars had to do it in. No doubt a sick car but if the tranny can’t deal with launches its not going to work.
