Gucci Native High-Top

gucci native high top Gucci Native High Top

Part of Gucci’s 2009 spring assortment of footwear, the established fashion house takes another stab at things with another Native American-inspired high-top. Previous releases have followed a similar stylistic route to the one seen here with this recent style keeping things simple with an all-white leather upper. The skirt and use of beads are decidedly Visvim-esque, however the silhouette seems to be the most important aspect here with a tight streamlined design.

    @ Gucci Mayne

Is that what kids do nowadays? Buy it for the logo and how much it is? Here is a tip, worry about your school work. . Im 29, and in my younger days, wanted Jordans etc. for the look, not the logo/price. Also, to grown folks when we see a elementary/ high school kid, all decked out in clothing and accessories, we know your broke…. Even if you are from a rich family, “you” are still broke, that’s mommy and daddies money. Kids are growing up faster than the 80’s 90’s, and headed no where fast. FUCK Gucci, wear it because you want to, not for people to stare “at the logo”, that’s simple minded. Thats why i never had a closet full of CROSS COLORS and fuckin FUBU, i didnt like that shit then, but the hustlers did..When they joke i tell’em go put that bool shit on. Purple baggy pants with an Africa shirt… Stop…

what a scandal. Miss Giannini please take a look those blogs & pay a better cool hunter.
I suggest sentencing for Your shoes designer :: “U r fired, go somewhere to propose imitions of Icons”. Next time U’d try with Timberland too, U know. What a Goal. Shit, I’m wrong, this is a snob brand, probably Your customers can’t wear Visvim etc.

    logic

What other brand has embodied the conceptual aspect of Native American culture and brought it to the world of footwear like Visvim? Yes you have your quintessential brands which strive to maintain the traditional aesthetics of Native American footwear like Quoddy/Arrow etc, but Visvim brought that shit into a new light.

Without the fringe, I wouldn’t have made the Native American/Vis reference cause to me that is what defines the shoe, more so then Vans profile. If you take out the fringe, I’ll agree that it is more on a Vans-like tip. However, it’s not even a vulcanized shoe, it’s a cupsole due to the stitching of the sole to the upper. There is mention of this not being a new model, just new colorway cause (correct me if I’m wrong), they had a suede version in the past.

this is so retarded, now anything native american inspired is VISVIM inspired!>> “visvim-esque” that’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard and really redundant for a supposed streetwear aficionado to be saying. If anything it’s vans vault-esque. Either way gucci has done a vulcanized soled moccasin before. this ain’t new. hypebeast needs me to do product previews and reviews….. cause this is junk.
