Well respected skateboarding label etnies teams up with Disney on their latest collaboration effort. Entitled etniesXDisney Co:Labs, the project features a classy, clean cut approach. Four sneakers were created on the Men’s side including the Upsetter and Sly models which feature images of classic Disney cartoons such as Evil Lord and Mickey Mouse in tones inspired by various famous settings in Disney cartoon history. Aside from the mens collection, a women’s Zanza sneaker was created embellished with images of Tinkerbell and the cult classic film Fantasia, portraying one of Disney’s most beloved and sassy characters.

I think it’s a bit childish to have cartoons on your clothes and shoes. Might make sense for sketchers or even healies, but not come on. I don’t want to see my favorite brands with a picture of Mickey on em!
