Having been brought to light a few days ago, here’s a comprehensive look at the CLOT offering as part of the Nike 1World Air Force 1 project. With a look at the shoe provided in previous days, a stellar bit of packaging has been produced to further compliment and complete the whole collection. Themed after traditional Chinese New Years candy boxes, the Air Force 1 box follows a similar route as the segmented candy dishes now make way for a number of different colored laces. Along the sides of the hexagonal box are a number of iconic symbols, keeping in them with this month’s celebration of the Chinese New Year. The shoes will release on January 16th exclusively at JUICE and ACU, each carrying a suggested retail price of $2800 HKD/CNY (approximately $361/410 USD).

good concept and nice packaging. however this is more or less just another novelty shoe. it’ll turn heads simply b/c it’s unusual and I can only see it as a display case shoe.

this would look absolutely silly on the feet.

Ah, the nicest shoes I’ve seen in a long time and when they’re all together the details really show.

I’m big fan of CLOT and would kill to own a pair of these sneakers. I agree with wsjones1981, bring CLOT or 1World collabos to US!!

Every individual component as well as the whole set was really nicely designed imo. Good job to CLOT for once. And good to see nike do something good again compared to recent designs.

….but I still cant get onboard with the visible air unit….looks cheap, sometimes even campy….

Best part about this project was the packaging….and the AF1 needs to go away for awhile…..Nike needs a vault like Disney has….

i almost like the box and lace tray more than the shoes…..

CHINESE PRIDE!! THIS IS NICE BUT too bad its in hong kong

Well THAT wasn’t a borderline racist comment, was it? Some people will like the ‘Chinese’ looking shoes, some won’t…case closed – no relation to the fact that its ‘made in China’…just chat about the shoes…simple people should keep comments simple.

Dang, can the US get some quality releases such as the 1WORLD collection!

^^^^^^^^ What the hell is this guy talking about? Sounds like a bunch of hot air to me.

This shoe though… what i wouldn’t do to get my hands on a pair. Fresh, innovative, and that lace tray is perfect. Well done Clot and Nike.

Well the Nike made in China has now gone really … ummm.. well… Chinese looking shoes are pretty much okay, I just dont feel excited about it. Differentiation through collaboration is not innovation anymore. Whats next? McDonalds x Nike shoe?
