A.P.C. x Nike Sportswear All Court

French fashion label APC and Nike Sportswear have come together in a special spring release as they revisit one of Nike’s classics, the All Court Shoe. With a penchant for high-quality and timeless aesthetics, the All Court makes for a more then suitable candidate as it is seen here with a simple white and blue colorway. The All Court itself dates back to 1975 as a predecessor to the Cross Trainer. Its versatile nature made it a shoe for a range of sports from basketball to tennis and various court sports. However for 2009, we see a number of technological updates take shape including a Spenco quarterlining and a new hard wearing outsole to go alongside the simplicity of a canvas upper. Look for these as well as a white and red colorway to hit retailers soon as one of 2009’s early footwear gems.

[...] Nike Sportswear’s All Court has been getting quite a bit of attention after the announcement of a collaboration involving French fashion brand, A.P.C. We get a more detailed look at one of the three styles found in the upcoming release. This model consists of a white canvas upper with a subtle touch of blue on the swoosh and inner lining. Furthermore, branding is kept to a minimum as the only appearance is on the tongue which displays the A.P.C. logo. Expect to see two other color schemes in white/red and white/white later this year.
