I got these 2 weeks ago. They are NOT infared, but are MAX ORANGE. They are actually pretty DOPE. I believe they are NYLON and not Canvas (really lightweight). I personally feel that they are better than most AJ 1 retros that have been recently released (straps) or will be released. Most OG cats will not like these, the new heads will. I still own my OG AJ1s from 1985 and would love to have them given the proper Retro a-la 1994.

Nike always recycles the hell out of their old models, look at what they have done in the past couple of years, Air Stabs coming back, almost every retro Air Max (in whatever colorway you need, then some), Jordans, the ACG fusions, etc.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise in today’s mash-up frenzied society. I actually like these, I like when Nike, or the Jordan brand, I don’t know who’s brain child this was, takes their iconic shoes and creates something that I would have never thought of.
