Shepard Fairey and his Obey Campaign have teamed up with MoveOn.org to create a virtual art gallery created by the public via online submission. Out of all the entries received, 30 will be featured in the online gallery later to be sold for charity, and the top 5 will be displayed at the Democratic National Convention in Colorado. With the elections nearing, the Barack Obama camp has picked up strong support from the younger demographic due to artistic momentum like the HOPE poster from Shepard Fairey. Not only does the presidential candidate share positive views but he is someone that younger people can relate to whether it be politically or something simple like artwork showcasing the true meaning behind words like Hope, Progress and Unity.
