Fred Perry himself was world tennis champion in 1928 and in 1952 started making the slim-fit tennis shirts that were revolutionary at the time. A few decades later, his clothes became the uniform for original street cultures in the UK such as Mods and Skinheads. Fred Perry has maintained its connection with culture as well as sport, and do alot of contemporary collabos. The most famous collabo is with Comme des Garçons, but they even let Staple Design in on a piece.
