Yoshitomo Nara’s solo show at Blum & Poe opened this weekend, with a nice array of large scale sculpture’s being showcased along with a series of new paintings that focused on Nara’s signature pastel-colored girls.  The biggest part of the showcase was a prairie-style wagon created by YNG, a collaboration between Yoshitomo Nara and Japanese design firm Graf. Within the wagon, Nara exhibited a surprise batch of works in progress and handpicked everyday items. More of the artwork can be seen after the jump.
