Founded in 1981, Slayer is heralded as one of the top thrash metal bands of all time. Having already affiliated themselves with iconic bands in the past including Bad Religion, Circle Jerks and Iron Maiden the Vans camp once again pulls some classic inspiration from the music archives. Taking their SK8-Hi canvas, Vans gives these kicks a Slayer make-over with familiar artwork seen on the band’s 1991 release Decade of Aggression. These along with the recently previewed KISS collaborations are scheduled as a Spring 2009 release.
