The original Ranger Boot did not have a cookie on the ankle. It was added to the Ranger since sales of Ranger were stronger, but everyone (aka the coke dealers) liked the cookie too. Polo did a small revival of the Ranger a few years ago, but it bombed at retail. It’s all about timing.
