Hitting up the newly opened Nike iD Bespoke studio at 21 Mercer, Air Force 1 junkie Mayor designed his own pair of the legendary sneakers with a cornucopia of options at hand. Giving us a hint of what the Bespoke format is capable of, the sneakers feature a slew of colors and material choices included patent leather, indigo denim with contrast stitching, buttery leather lining, waxed laces and clear midsoles capped off by a custom steel tag. Definitely something for the sneaker aficionado.

Those are so Hott! I don’t even rock AF1’s but would get those. But on second thought maybe not for $800. That’s like some turntables or sumthing.

Mercer only does Bespoke appointments certain days of the week. The appointments are never booked. I believe Sundays and Tuesdays are the days. They go for $820 a pair.

I wonder how long the appointment waits are. If any one from NYC has been to the mercer spot and booked a spot let me know how long it takes.
