Resuming his role as photographer after a departure from Dior Homme, Hedi Slimane heads Prada’s Spring 2009 ad campaign with a musical influence. His latest series of black and white photography places the acclaimed designer into a project featuring Louis and Claude Simonon, sons of Paul and Tricia Simonon, the bass player and manager of Punk band The Clash. Although still students in England and never having modeled before, both Simonon’s produce first rate imagery with ease, photographed “in moments of reflection and introspection”.
