After having checked out the full length version of Nike’s newest promotional commercial for the Zoom Kobe IV, we get a closer look at the highly anticipated Air Yeezy’s. The kicks are probably the most hyped up Nike sneakers to date, due to clever marketing by the corporate giant. We’ll wait and see if the released version remains true to form, much like these DJ AM specials.

I think the hype point is if Kanye wasn’t behind these they would sit at the outlets. They’re ugly. They are fashion in the form of being a follower, not in the sense of good aesthetics.
I think someone hit on it above, but hey basically take the no talent competitor formula of copy some aspect of a classic jordan (the midsole) through some crazy colors at it and fatten it up. I’m with Played out’s statement – we all know by now that their going to reserve the better releases for limited quick strikes at certain locations ala McFly Hyperdunk. But when, not if, they release these in March – we’ll probably just see some plain colorways like the Hyperdunk has – and if they’ll actually having glowing soles or not, something tells me they won’t – though the swoosh should and if as reported is true, the “lace bubble” will too. Time will tell, I just wish it’d hurry itself up!

Funny thing is that Nike is releasing a shoe that is basically their own knock off version of these snowboard boots. A cheaper looking version of this shoe releasing sometime in spring.
