Strawberry - means to me the essence of what it is to be English, from the strawberries and cream you see at Wimbledon to the strawberry fields our most famous export the Beatles sung about. It's in the fields that surround me, it's the country side I grew up in and it's in the memories of my childhood. Watermelon - Water melon is the opposite to my strawberry, it is in essence the other half of the world. It is the islands that make up the Caribbean, and all that comes with it. It is the metaphor of adventure and exoticness. It is the worlds away from my strawberry. What does strawberry and watermelon mean to you?

Strawberry – means to me the essence of what it is to be English, from the strawberries and cream you see at Wimbledon to the strawberry fields our most famous export the Beatles sung about. It’s in the fields that surround me, it’s the country side I grew up in and it’s in the memories of my childhood.

Watermelon – Water melon is the opposite to my strawberry, it is in essence the other half of the world. It is the islands that make up the Caribbean, and all that comes with it. It is the metaphor of adventure and exoticness. It is the worlds away from my strawberry.
