From Triumvir founder Brandon Cheng’s humble roots customizing sneakers to expanding into a full-fledged clothing brand, he was recently given creative control over the design of this latest Nike SB Dunk Mid “Beijing”. Based on a close relationship with China’s Fly, he was offered the role of sneaker designer. The two entities were given the following theme: utilizing some of Beijing’s icons including dust, noodles, traffic, highways and Tiananmen Square, create a shoe from a Beijing person’s perspective. This is really an oversimplified version of the story with the full run-down of the concept being seen over at Triumvir.

These kicks would look so much better in a lowtop or hightop style. However, they have a great color scheme with triumvir making its presence known on the shoe concept.
