Pastelle to be Released in January 2009

Making headlines after his appearance at the AMA’s, Kanye clears the air regarding specifics on the release of his highly anticipated clothing line, Pastelle. Both the jacket seen at the American Music Awards (which he designed less than 3 weeks ago) and the hoody spotted at the Dior show will see a release this coming January as well as a more subtle varsity piece seen here. After much speculation, the kicks he was wearing were officially Louis Vuitton sneakers and once again the Air Yeezy’s are confirmed to drop in March. Definitely another busy month for Kanye.

The jacket is not so bad, but he is such a clown. He needs to get over himself and check his ego. Its cool to have one, but he is starting to get laughed at and alienate his core. I doubt anybody is going to buy anything just because KW is attached to the brand.

Not sure what I think of his line yet. This jacket is ok but I dont think many people would mess with it if Kanye’s name wasnt associated with it. The overall outfit looks like a mess. Any word on the price points for his line? are we looking at BBC prices?
