Nike Air Force 1 “Black Friday” Release Recap

In what was certainly one of the more eventful Black Friday’s within the past few years, Nike dropped their “Black Friday” Air Force 1’s designed by DJ Clark Kent. People waited anxiously in a line down the block to get their hands on the well known sneaker aficionado’s latest joints. Concepts held a release with the DJ himself in attendance giving the faithful a dose of Nike’s classic sneaker in a tonal black platform hooked up with pony hair, silver lenticular material and iridescent midsoles. i only wear my bodega t’s into concepts and my concepts t’s into bodega. i don’t wear a shirt when i go into laced and i wear fubu when i go into Karmaloop. Thats just the way it is ’round here.
Im not talking shit. I shared my opinion. Do as you please really thats what hypebeast is really about. If i was in your position I wouldnt do it because to me I use clothing as a means to express myself and what i think. But anyways congrats to you getting your sneakers. i was there for the nyc release…i got there 6 hours before they opened and it turns out that 75 wristsband were givin out for a gaurenteed get of the kicks….funny how most of the lucky 75 were friends of the workers in sportswear… whats also F’d up is that i met a couple of dudes who didnt even have wristbands and got there around the time the store opened. they walked up to the door, gave a pound to the dude who was at the door, walked in and walked out with a pair. At sportwear if you dont know them personally, you wont get nothing no matter how long you camp out, they dont care…and they allowed their friends to copped more than one pair…F’em….they did the same for the krinks….no wristband tho…everyone who copped the kents basically copped the krinks…only because they knew the guys who worked there….stupid carrot top looking mofo….

Anyone try getting these in Florida? First I tried calling the Shoe Gallery but they NEVER answer the phone or return the voice mails you leave them, to find out what time they were dropping. So me and my boy gas up the car and take the hour drive to go get them bright and early Friday. We waited about 2 hours. The store was supposed to open at 9:30 but they didnt open it till like 10. Then the owner tells us that they wont sell us the Clark Kents till 8 at night. 8 at night!?!?! I just drove all this way and this guy wants me to camp out for over 12 hours. And it turns out Clark Kent got there at 6 and they start early. What a bunch of $hit. I give up on trying to camp out for kicks or trying to get any kick at the Shoe Gallery. Some of these places with these SPECIAL nike accounts NEED TO STEP UP THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU WANT ME TO DROP $200 ON A PAIR OF SHOES YOU BETTER AT LEAST SAY HI WHEN SOMEONE COMES IN YOUR STORE OR HAVE YOUR WORKERS ASK PEEEPS IF THEY NEED SOME HELP INSTEAD OF POSTING UP AND CHILLIN. YOU CANT EVEN TELL IF THEY WORK THERE. Just venting. The pony hair was wack anyway.
