Maharishi x Pozu Sequoia
by Eugene Kan, November 7, 2008

Always considered an “out of the box” thinker, Maharishi combines with a like-minded brand in Po-Zu to create a specialty pair of convertible footwear. With a brand philosophy wishing to minimize impact the earth through their manufacturing process among other things, Po-Zu footwear’s brand ethos is captured in their biodegradable shoe boxes (made of coconut). Turning our focus to the footwear, the boots feature a clean minimalistic upper with additional flaps which allow the boot to be converted into high-top form. With the ability to be worn in two different styles, herringbone tweed accentuates one of the sides. Priced at $255 USD, they are available now at Standard who are in the midst of opening a second shop in Lenox Square.
