Eric Clapton x Hermès Custom Crocodile Guitar Case
by Eugene Kan, November 25, 2008

Guitar genius Eric Clapton looked to French fashion house Hermès to create a custom guitar case. The made-to-order case housed Clapton’s signature Martin 00028 EC acoustic guitar with a rich matte-finish croc skin adorning the exterior of the case. The shell of the case is made from poplar wood source from Nazareth, Pennsylvania and is completed with a blue silk velvet liner. Estimates for the case’s cost are tabulated at approximately $100,000 USD on the low end.

I don’t know much about Eric Clapton’s music – but I think he’s a cool cat cos he wears BAPE shit.
Why
Nazareth is the same place where Martin guitars (Claptons long time guitar maker) are produced. 100,000 may seem pricey, but some of his guitars are definitely worth a whole lot more.
Yeah, waste of money.
haha dont be a hater that shit is hot.
clapton is over rated.
100grand for a guitar case. I hope some of that money is being used to feed people in poverty….Fckn guitar case? Really? I don’t care how rich you are…that is outrageous.
Well that’s just too beautiful.
