Bad Brains x Supreme 2008 Fall/Winter Collection

In a tribute to seminal Washington DC hardcore punk band Bad Brains, Supreme has teamed up with the band to offer another capsule of products. Together the collection will include t-shirts and sweaters referencing the band as well as two Vans footwear styles (also part of previous collaborations) with the rarely seen collaboration fodder, the Mountain Edition and the Old Skool. No exact date has been set regarding this collections release.

I don’t know what Supreme or Bad Brains are but this post has enough comments and hype to make me want both of them!
No, but seriously, Supreme cut and sew is OK, but this stuff is ridiculous. As soon as something gets branded with the Supreme logo it’s just fucking awesome? If they offered the shirt without for the logo for $10 less most of you would still pay for the branded one. And I don’t even know how the shoes relate to the Bad Brains. This kind of consumerism makes me sick. Maybe some of you need a refresher or introduction to the Bad Brains, “My lovely sister, judge me by my clothes, yeah. Only to learn to her mistake, not everyone’s alike.” Just think about why you’re buying the shit first. Do you.
I have no idea who Bad Brains is but I’m gonna cawp all of these and then some because it’s Supreme! I love it!

^^^I was just going to say the exact same thing (Minus the killing himself part).
The gray hoodie is nice. But I am a little pissed that they are now kind of making a fashion line out of the Bad Brains instead of just having a couple limited tee’s (And a few ugly pairs of shoes).
And yes, these are going to sell out very quickly, which is sad because I will bet that most all people that stand in line to buy these are not fans of the Bad Brains. But then again, if one was a real fan of the Bad Brains, you might not be paying upwards of 50 for a t-shirt and 100 for a hoodie. Just a thought.
