AXIS “Welcome To My Nightmare” Exhibition Recap

Here’s a look into Axis’ recently opened exhibition, “Welcome To My Nightmare” which took place this past weekend at SURU LA. Pieces featuring notable dark and twisted themes of death were juxtaposed against a select few pieces which involved less graphic and colorful depictions. A live exhibition featuring a large snake, coffin and scantily clad model were also on the agenda.

Damn, how you gonna hate on this. Paintings are ill. Concept is tight and not something that you would see in your average gallery. Besides what is an X-Rated gallery??? You can’t give a work a rating classification. What about What about the artists from the Bauhuas, would that be classed as a X-rated gallery.
i believe there was a picture of a woman sticking a spray paint can into her coochie. that might belong in more of an X rated gallery.
