A personality familiar across these pages, Dr. Romanelli’s apparel customizing abilities have seen few equals. However in this latest project, a similar minded individual with his penchant for giving a new life to vintage materials, A Love Movement’s Tetsuzo Okubo teams up with Dr. Romanelli to create the “Dr. Love” vest. Combing Dr. Romanelli’s panel techniques, it is infused with Okubo’s vintage patch and cashmere letterings to create the ultimate in custom apparel. The vests will release this holiday season with more on the way for 2009. Maxfield in Los Angeles will be the sole retailer of these vests.
