Among the highlights of last month’s Downshift Session 2008 was a custom painted 2007 Lotus Exige S done by respected artist Eric Haze. Just recently, Eric Haze has offered a great deal of insight into the project and how it came about. Given only 5 days, Haze had to ensure his plans were executed flawlessly given the limited time frame and the necessity to use “quick drying and very unforgiving old school pinstripers enamel that was best suited for the job”. The car is currently up on the auction blocks to help raise funds for the charity “Studio In A School” on Grand St. in Manhattan.
