The Hundreds Footware – The Johnson Mid-Top

The Hundreds Footware’s debut project, landing in select TH accounts throughout this week, and instore at THLA and THSF this Thursday morning at 11am. The design inspiration behind the Johnson is an amalgamation of 4 Cali-centric lifestyle shoes, from all ends of the subculture spectrum. Funneled down into a cohesive, unique silhouette that emanates a classic, timeless simplicity. Our initial offering is constructed of suede and nubuck leathers, with a JAGS-embossed gumsole, and vulcanized sole for the sake of comfort. Accented with a silver top lace-hole and tonal foxing. You do not really think that this design is “original”.
I my eyes they just look like a copy of every other brand that is trying to copy Vans Chukka!
And if you look at their latest collabo with GRAVIS the Johnston reminds me too much of the Low Down!!
To me it seems as if they just draw inspiration from the Gravis design team!
Anyway, instead of buying another copy of already existing sneakers, go and get a pair of Gravis, for example, who really try to drop something original season after season!

These are nice. The simplicity is good, and the design is original.
They look alright but the materials look questionable (except the tan ones though)

The black ones would look better with white laces. Those tan ones are HOTT though! Good Job.
