With a stellar background in the art world, including work for some of the most significant newspapers/magazines in the US, Nathan Ota has been a leader in the nu skool art movement with inspiration from the likes of Robert Williams and Pushead since his early 90’s beginnings. Hooking up with Hong Kong based manufacturers Three Zero, we get a preview of his upcoming vinyl based off the painting Candy Colored Clown. Although the figure is still in production, it will certainly be one of next years vinyl highlights or even this year’s. In the meantime, be sure to check out Mr. Ota’s Way, Way South solo show taking place at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles.
