With his show days away from opening, artist Mark Dean Veca has been working at a frantic pace to complete his transformation of the Ben Maltz Gallery at Otis College. With the distinct use of orange and his intricate paintings, the show’s subject matter includes Damien Hirst’s $100 million dollar diamond skull, the KAWS Companion, Buddha, Abe Lincoln and Jeff Koons’ signature sculptures, all under the personal stylings and commentaries of the accomplished painter. The show begins October 11th.
