Kanye West – Coldest Winter

by Chad Jordan, October 25, 2008

kanye west coldest winter Kanye West Coldest Winter

Although we’ve gotten at least two pleasantly morbid track from Kanye’s upcoming opus 808’s and Heartbreak neither of those compare to how utterly emotional “Coldest Winter” is. On this latest leak from the album Kanye pours his heart and soul into the track as he croons to the top of his lungs (with auto tune along for the ride of course) about the running theme on the album, lost love. The track features an ear crackling, awkward snare that some how fits in perfectly with the emotion drenched all over the track. The beat is slow paced, yet brought alive with keyboard chimes and the same speaker shattering African drums featured on “Love Lockdown”. This track proves that the new album will be Yeezy’s most personal yet.

It’s about his ex-fiancĂ©. I really wish he would stick to rapping, cause he’s an amazing rapper, but his singing is not all that nice.

Well, thanks for beating me over the head with your “awkward” use of vocabulary. I really can’t tell if you’re declaring the song bad or good or if you just don’t know. It’s almost like you butchered the song through description.

I’m just waiting for him to grow dreads and never take off a pair of sunglasses that are too big for his face.

ENOUGH WITH THE VOCODER SINGING PLZ!!!

What about “Robocop”? Have you not heard that yet? I swear, get the fuck off Kanye’s shit. All this new music sucks and there’s no need for it on the main page. Leave it to the music section. We get it, you guys have a huge man crush on Kanye.

wow kanye is really gay. this is like techno club music. And he sings way too much now. KANYE IS NOT HIP HOP ANYMORE! Justin timberlake is more hip hop than him now.

An opus is a great work. An artist usually has but one if any opus at all in their life time. I doubt this is his opus.
