French leather specialists Hermès, renown for their luxurious leather product have hit the designer sneaker market with their own interpretation of a metallic hi-top silhouette. Utilizing some of the world’s rarest materials including crocodile and snake skin, Hermès has been a constant caterer to the celebrity world. This pair seemingly aimed towards that very demographic, carries a steep price tag of $7,600 HKD (Approx. $981 USD) . The sneakers are now available at The Galleria in Hong Kong.

    This is great. This is such a landmark product. When Hermes embrace ‘urban’, you know that the ‘luxury urban’ trend has really kicked into swing. Wow.

    It was fun for a while with the “high fashion” high tops. They had some new ideas and takes on the sneaker. The “real” sneakerworld has caught up now in my opinion.
