Clarks Originals Wallabee “Akasha”
by Eugene Kan, October 10, 2008

Clarks’ Wallabee has become a solid piece to the casual wear puzzle for many with its iconic styles and world-wide adoration. But for the 2008 fall/winter collection, Clarks Originals’ decided to re-interpret the Wallabee to reflect the model’s cross-cultural fanbase in Tokyo and New York City and the growing times. The end result is Clarks’ own hybrid of the Wallabee, the Wallabee Akasha. This contemporary update includes a high-quality quilted suede and gone is the familiar and original crepe sole in favor of a more sneaker-like sole. For Clarks’ long-time enthusiasts and for those a fan of the classic styles of the Wallabee this may cause some commotion but this arguably presents a new approach to one of footwear’s icons.

Can anyone help me get a pair of these???
oh yeah!
HOT! Nice Work! Where can I buy these in Florida or online??
brown colorway super duper dope
cute.. but I know one too many douche bags who rock Clarks.. and nike.. Hahahahaha!
That’s great, i’ve been a fan of clarks for a while and would be much happier buying these (i’ll wait for ones without the quilting; hopefully they’ll release them in oiled or patent leather) than one of the many brands that have recently been biting the clarks style and adding sneaker soles as the only innovation.
if you’ve never worn clarks, the craftsmanship is great, and if you have wide feet like i do they are ridiculously comfortable.
those are looking pretty bo bo to me
Epic ughh I have been waiting a while for something like this. However I thought they might us something other than a slap style layered outsole midsole combo. Maybe a heal reinforcement with the midsole to widen the base.
I never even knew Clarks had this range, cool post!
