Chanel Mobile Art Tour – New York Opening
by L.A. Ruano, October 20, 2008

Making its stop in Central Park, Chanel’s mobile art pavilion continues its tour with an opening today in Central Park. The structure designed by architect Zaha Hadid was engineered to reflect a traditional quilted Chanel bag. Featuring works from 20 artists around the globe, the show is definitely something to check out, especially with free admission. For further information regarding admission check out the official website, with pictures after the jump.

This was Great I went to the opening today 10/21/08 .It a must see if you live in NYC . You get a free Book and postcards .
you guys could go sell cookies and give the proceeds to a charity to help a cuase…i dont think you do that though do you…so easy to offer up other ppls wallets whats the last selfless thing you’ve done….of course i could be wrong and you could be a very selfless person but hey…
wow! i wish i lived in new york!!!
and yeah i think a donation would have been good
im sure this could raise a lot of money for a good cause
Big Up!
Nice One!
YES THEY DEFINITELY SHOULD HAVE DONATED AAAALLLL THEIR $$$$$$ TO CHARITY INSTEAD!!!!!!
Its free, so that awesome, two Im sure the artist’s are commisioned for this project, and it costs alot more to create a mobile gallery that you could even imagine, alot of people and efforts have been paid off to bring something awesome for the public to view. So when you say shouldnt some money go to chairty, think about it once more. Art is a charity its not easy to get your name known through are and its even hard to be able to afford to do something you love.
couldnt they have donated some money to charity instead?
