Chanel Mobile Art Tour in Central Park

Featuring work from 20 contemporary artists, Chanel brings its mobile art tour to New York’s Central Park. Designed by deconstructivist architect Zaha Hadid, the structure can definitely be confused with a prop used in Independence Day although its meant to reflect Chanel’s famous quilted bag design. The free public exhibition is scheduled for an October 20th, 2008 opening with further information available at their official website.

I will be in NY over Thanksgiving. Will Zaha Hadid’s mobile art still be in Central Park then? Will it be open on Thanksgiving Day????
