Fresh from A Bathing Ape’s 2008 Fall/Winter collection are these super flashy metallic Bapesta88′s. These futuristic looking sneakers will come in both metallic gold and metallic silver colors. While the hi-top Bapesta88′s will retail at 18,690 Yen, the low cuts will go for 17,640 Yen. Available now at Bape stores worldwide.

    ^ key word – “their” hard-earned cash. people will buy what they want, regardless of what you think. i could give you plenty of the usual reasons why bape costs what it does, but i think nigo just wanted bape to be on it’s on own level in the streetwear market. personally, i don’t care for these.
