A Bathing Ape, aka. Bape needs no introduction. As the Japanese streetwear giant ages and celebrates their 15th anniversary this year, their line continues to expand as it caters to different types of consumers. Some pieces that we thought were interesting which released this past weekend includes patterned cut & sew sweaters, patchwork madras fabric button up shirts and patterned jackets.     madras is ugly and old. futura and supreme already dropped madras a few months ago. nigo caught slippin. zip-ups are aight, for a chic.

    the only good one are the button ups, and they rnt spectacular. seems to me as if because it says bape its good? i could have designed this and i don’t think it would have appeared on hypebeast.

    this looks like the stuff you can pick up in india on the small road stands, they look cheap and tacky. I dont hate bape, they just not a brand that I will ever rock unless they get wid some contemp sleak desings

    the colorful button ups remind of hilfiger shirts back in ‘96…and i think they are buggin with that hat but the sweat shirts are o.k.

    I swear if you showed me this and didn’t tell me it was Bape I would have never guessed that it was. They used to have such a unique identity, but this line is just like the kind of stuff you could find almost anywhere.
