The Hundreds x Gravis Black Box Collection

September 25, 2008Uncategorizedby Charles Cheng97 Views

Today, Gravis Footwear and LA clothing label, The Hundreds, announce the unveiling of their FW 2008 Black Box collaboration of shoes, bags and accessories. Using a handful of Gravis’ most popular products, The Lowdown Hi-Cut sneaker, Jetway roller bag, Shadow pack, Hold All Trio, and Terminal Case, each piece will be covered in custom Hundreds JAGS print on heavy nylon, with pop fluorescent accents and the iconic Adam Bomb logo.

“We’ve been longtime fans of Gravis, and what they’ve accomplished with their innovative product range within worldwide street culture. So we were very excited to work with them on the BLACKBOX Collection, considering the respected roster of artists and designers who’ve contributed to the program in the past. Furthermore, this was monumental in that it is the first time we are offering The Hundreds branded luggage and our very own footwear.”

Having just moved to the left coast after eight years based in Burlington, Vermont, it was fitting that Gravis partnered up with the LA-subculture-based brand, The Hundreds.

“Gravis is hyped to have worked on the new BLACKBOX Collection with The Hundreds. Together we styled out a collection compliments the personalities of our brands. I love what The Hundreds represents and how engaged they are with their consumer fan base. Their brand philosophy is what makes them what they are today. A true player in the streetwear arena.”

The limited edition items will be sold exclusively at Gravis Black Box dealers around the world and in The Hundreds LA and SF flagship boutiques and their online store come October 2008.
