The much anticipated Storm Trooper KAWS Companion from OriginalFake was released at the OriginalFake store in Tokyo. As expected, fans, collectors and resellers lined up on a Saturday morning to get their hands on one of these figures. Only 1000 pieces were produced, many of them popping up on Japanese auctions sites right after the release. Those that were unable to purchase one will most likely have to get it the hard way (eBay, Yahoo Auctions japan) in order to complete their Star Wars Companion collection (with the Darth Vader Companion).

    I still haven’t understood the hype around these toys. Grown people waiting in line for hours, to by toys for themselves. I guess everybody has their own thing.

    P.S. I know you see the Nike Eugine backpack in the lower right hand of the picture.

    to bad there was no nyc release or a kawsone.com release but besides that its a great toy wish i could have been on the island but hey whats resale may the force be with you!!!!!!!
