Becoming an almost expected release from the OriginalFake camp is their seasonal technical outerwear offerings. New for the 2008 fall/winter collection is this Gore-Tex jacket which features an all black body with various OriginalFake detailings such as the Chomper print and the ‘XX’ images as well as leather trim in select areas. The jacket itself is longer then any previous styles seen and available now at L’INTRUS. A suggested retail price is listed at ¥80,000 JPY (approximately $742 USD).

    “all japanese doesn’t care Nexus VII”, ok, so please tell me what is the brand that all japanese people love?? since in Japan the (many) people who like fashion are into those superior quality small brands destinated to a niche market or big brand/ small brand collaboration still for the niche market. And for people who are into superior street wear clothing; Nexus VII is quite highly graded. When you look at this jacket, you can clearly use the term of luxious! and I know what I’m talking about… this brand use the same high quality material than luxious brands but with a more streetwear design, they care to the little but very important detail that make all the difference like in the luxious world. the japanese people know the deal when it comes to quality and many products got the golden touch, the subtle things who make you so happy when you have it and resist the test of time. this is what I call luxe.

    I understand your viewpoint but actually this jacket looks amazing in real. I have bought the same one the last year and all the details give a very luxious body, the shape is absolutely perfect and everyone I know asked me where come from this jacket. We all have to understand that Kaws’s Original Fake brand is actually made by Nexus VII, a japanese brand who’s priority is to build high quality products to make street wear with luxious materials. So, ok $742 for a gore- tex jacket is higher than the last 3L pro shell gore- tex from Arcteryx, Patagonia, North Face,… but is cheaper than a Prada gore- tex which use less quality materials in my opinion, trust me. Nexus VII is clearly a luxious brand with cheaper and better build products than all these Prada, Gucci,… and we can’t compare it to brands like Crooks & Castles, 10 deep because they’re not running in same way. Personnally I’m not a big fan of Kaws and yes his art is sometime a bit easy access with many colours… but this jacket is so dope

    I LOVE KAW’s ARTWORK and what he does, but I am starting to agree with the pricing comments. Hes starting to price each piece of clothing like its an individual piece of artwork hes done himself. This is crazy. The very people who love his artwork and who would rock his clothing cant even afford a piece of it. Hes even gone crazy with his vinyl figures and pretty much everything else he puts an “X” on.
