Nike SB Dunk Low “Gold Rail”

Nike SB Dunk Low Gold Rail

In Nike SB’s upcoming October releases, Australians/Melburnians are once again the focus of their very own regionally exclusive shoe as they look to a local landmark for inspiration. Based on the well-known meeting spot, the Flinders Street Station, many have chosen the train station’s clock as reference as well as a popular skate spot with its gold rail. The upper is comprised of canvas, suede and mesh with a distinct blue upper (based on the Port Philip Bay) and a brown midsole (based on the Yarra River). As mentioned these are slated for an October release, however much like Dunk Low Homers, these are limited to Melbourne only.

Hypebeast is no longer a credible source, not saying they really were with their pseudo intellect, but this is the icing on the cake. Limited to Melbourne only? These are a GENERAL RELEASE. They will be everywhere. They’re on CCS for pre-order right now, retards.

Confusing to why a shoe based on the Flinders Rail has no gold on it at all? Yes yes the bay and the river are the inspirations but you can’t see either from the rail spot.

…not mad at these. They have a classic look to ‘em. I like that they’re simple and more on the tech-material tip; also like that they’re a limited release >>> F*#K THE MASSES!

    LOL @ the Michelangelo’s

    NUTS colorway
reminds me of the border blues a bit
if there’s a pair anywhere near the states
    it’ll be in mah hands!

Looks good, even the sole, but the darker brown midsole is throwing it off.

  20. Posted by: KickoBang on September 6, 2008 at 12:44 pm

Kinda reminds me of MEGA-MAN. haha!! Its better than more than half the sh*t coming out. The Michelangelo’s will save the SBs though

    oh shit. DOPE.
i want this colorway on something other than sb’s though…
