Nike Mid-Autumn Festival Pack

In a release that will appeal to the growing Chinese market, Nike has taken one of Chinese culture’s most important events, the Mid-Autumn Festival and created a three-pack of sneakers to mark the September 14th event. The pack includes the Terminator (with rarely seen embroidered heel logo), Air Max 1 and Blazer, each featuring ample use of traditional Chinese colors in metallic gold and red. Each style also includes laser etched designs as well as a rabbit/hare icon which relates back to old Chinese folklore. With a proliferation of gold colored footwear releasing due to last month’s Olympics, we see the trend continue on Nike’s behalf. Available exclusively to the Hong Kong and China markets.

    love the Terminators and the Air Max Ones…..should’ve went solid gold on the front of the Blazers. But if they came to the states, I’d at least cop the Terminators.

    I think they’re all pretty sick. I think the change to the old tennis-court style blazer is good move away from the more traditional blazer Nike SB uses for its General releases. Overall good color choice, definitely a great pickup for the hipster set. A nice sneaker to compete with the muska skytop craze, ya dig? I’m glad they are putting the terminator to use over in Sportswear cuz I’m tired of Dunks for every single nike release…I mean come on and an AM1 is always gonna sell, you guys know that.
