German designer Jil Sander’s understated and minimalistic stylings are manifested in this particular piece from her latest footwear collection. The dominance of pure white is offset only by the grayish suede and black patent pipping seen along the heels. There is some subtle albeit unnecessary branding along the outerfoot. Among the current stockists are oki-ni.

Jil has left her selftitled fashion house for a mighty long time as she first parted in 2000 after Prada Group CEO Bertelli forced her to use cheaper fabrics after a buyout. She returned to do two new collections in 2003 but left -again because of fights with Bertelli- her company for the last time in 2004 and since 2005 all Jil Sander has been designed by Raf Simons
