Hong Kong designer and painter Dorophy Tang has become a well-known artist on the heels of various large-scale works with the likes of adidas, Lomography and Medicom Toy. She reunites with adidas on the “Kicks Discovery” World Tour which takes place in Beijing starting tomorrow. Dorophy Tang utilizes her trademark Shopping Baby as the basis to create 70 different pieces. Each of the 70 pieces are loosely inspired by adidas’ enviable collection of classics including the Superstar, Micropacer, adicolor, Micropacer and Forum. In addition a special limited edition Shopping Baby will be available for sale with a suggested price of ¥880 RMB | $103 USD. The event takes place from September 24th till October 12th on the 4th floor of adidas’ flagship store in Beijing.
